CHILDRESS – Childress High School (CHS) powerlifters Rebekkah Gorman, Clarissa Lepe, Brinley Stone and Kennedy Smithwick will compete in the Regional Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, March 2 in Colorado City.

“I am proud of all the girls and the work each of them put in this season,” CHS Powerlifting Coach Matthew Olson said.

The first meet was Thursday, Jan. 11. Meets continued every other Thursday at the Childress Junior High School gym.

“They made significant increases this year at each meet,” Olson said.
