Do you recognize this vehicle? If so, please call Childress Police at 940-937-2546 or the Childress County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 940-937-2535.
The Childress Police Department needs the public’s help in finding this vehicle that is suspected of being involved in multiple burglaries, Police Chief Jerrald Johnson said.
If you recognize the vehicle, please call Childress Police at 940-937-2546 or the Childress County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 940-937-2535, he said.
During the overnight hours of Friday, Jan. 16, seven vehicles in the Southeast and Northeast were broken into. Johnson said tools and jewelry among other things were stolen.
Then at approximately 1:47 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 night, two vehicles were broken into at the Plaza restaurant in the overfill parking lot, he added. Their windows were broken and at least one firearm was stolen.
“We are working leads and asking the public’s help for anything they might have seen or know,” Johnson said. “The Police Department strongly appreciates the public support. It makes our community stronger and safer.”
After Johnson sent this picture and others, as well as a video, I posted it on the paper’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TheChildressNews.
