CWC’s Tour of Homes set to sparkle on Sunday

CHILDRESS – Instead of walking in a winter wonderland, walk through the Childress Women’s Council (CWC) annual Tour of Homes on Sunday, Dec. 4.

“I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy a holiday tradition and see all the beautiful homes that our gracious hosts are proudly displaying,” said CWC President Camille Cano.

The 2022 Tour of Homes is from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4.

Cano said it will feature these locations this year: Rodney and Cathy Black’s home, located at 500 Ave. H SE, Tristan and Kenzie Farris’s home, located at 802 Ave. C NW, The Light House Airbnb, located at 210 Ave. F NW, and Church of Christ, located at 201 2nd St. SE. Refreshments will be served at the Childress County Heritage Museum, located at 210 3rd St. NW.

Tickets are $10. Cano said all proceeds help support the projects the CWC does for the Childress community.

“The donations help to fund the Childress Women’s Council shoe closet at the elementary school, maintenance and upkeep on the gazebo park, as well as our yearly scholarship,” Cano said.

Those who are interested in going can buy tickets from CWC members: Black, Cano, Jennifer Coles, Pat Collins, Rosemary Foster, Regina Henley, Susan Keener, Sandy Koepke, Suzy Koepke-Session, Sheabree Nix, Donna Statham, Daphni Thompson, Kandi Thompson, Whitney Wyatt and Kembra Zuber. People can also buy tickets the day of the event at one of the locations.
