CHILDRESS – Put on your shopping shoes, because the Childress Chamber of Commerce will host the Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Mashburn Event Center.
“This is a fun way to kick off the holiday shopping season,” said Childress Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Susan Leary. “It’s always fun to see the different items the vendors bring.”
Doors will open at 10 a.m. With more than 20 vendors, Leary said there will booths full of homemade items, clothes, jewelry, food products, home décor and many other things that would make fun Christmas gifts.
Vendors signed up for this year’s Holiday Bazaar consist of Grannie Annie’s Goodies, Bloom Boutique, Tenderly Gifted, Rug Ranch, a Mary Kay representative, Lila Rose Hair Accessories, The She Shed Boutique, Bobcat Nutrition, Wild Posey, Vinson’s Pelts & Furs, Boles T-shirts, Silver Guardian Creations, Chick Peas Boutique, Gammy’s Creations, Candy Cottage, Saar Air Fresheners, Amarillo Kettle Korn, Weirdtastic Wonders, Childress Elks Sweetheart, Debby Albert Jewelry, Seniors Citizen’s, Childress Women’s League Eat Wild shirts and tickets, Lambert’s Candles & Flowers, Hometown Jems and Childress Women’s Council Hometown Christmas Shirts.
Leary said the Childress Fire Department will also serve up their famous hamburgers for lunch.
“This event brings not just Childress shoppers out but the surrounding communities as well,” Leary said. “Many of the shoppers will visit our local merchants while out and about.”
